- Account type — tradesperson or client

Profile Information (Tradesperson)
- Business name, tagline, bio, and location
- Trade categories, years of experience, hourly rates
- Travel radius, phone number, website
- Self-reported licensing and insurance status
Content You Post
- Project posts, photos, descriptions
- Job listings and applications
- Comments and likes
Power Search Data
- Your project descriptions and search queries
- Specified location and radius
- AI-generated team recommendations saved to your account
Payment Information
- Credit pack purchases and transaction history
- Your Stripe customer ID
- We do not store card numbers — all card data is handled by Stripe
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate the social feed, job board, and profile system
- To run AI Power Searches using your project descriptions and tradesperson profiles
- To manage your account and credit balance
- To process payments through Stripe
- To send transactional emails such as payment confirmations
- To improve platform features and AI accuracy
4. Public Information
Tradesperson profiles, project posts, and job listings are publicly visible on Traid. If you create a tradesperson profile, the information you enter — including your name, location, trade categories, rates, and bio — may be visible to all users including non-registered visitors. Do not include information you wish to keep private in your public profile.
5. How We Share Your Information
- Anthropic: Your project descriptions and tradesperson profile data are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate Power Search results. Anthropic processes this under their privacy policy and does not use your data to train their models.
- Stripe: Payment information is shared with Stripe to process transactions.
- Supabase: Your data is stored on Supabase's secure, encrypted infrastructure.
- Resend: We use Resend to send transactional emails.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers provided by Supabase. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption and access controls. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights Under PIPEDA
- Access: Request a copy of your personal information
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
- Withdrawal: Withdraw consent, resulting in account closure
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data

The Service is not directed at persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
