Create your account and set up your profile in under 3 minutes.
Sign up for free. Head to the login page and create an account with your email. No credit card required.
Choose your account type. Are you a tradesperson offering services, or a client looking to hire? This determines what features you see.
Fill in your details. Add your name, city, and country. Tradespeople also add a business name, tagline, years of experience, and travel radius.
Select your trades. Pick from 70+ categories — plumbing, electrical, carpentry, cooking, tutoring, tailoring, and more. Select as many as apply to you.
You're in!
Once onboarding is complete, you'll land on the Feed. Everything else is built from here.
Your profile is your storefront. It's what clients see when they find you, and what tradespeople see when you post a job.
Profile completeness score
Traid shows you a progress bar on your profile settings page. A complete profile gets more visibility. Here's what counts:
Upload a profile photo. Go to Profile Settings and click on the avatar area to upload. JPEG, PNG, or WebP — max 10MB. Photos go through a quick safety review before going live.
Write a compelling bio. Tell potential clients who you are, what you do, and why you're great at it. Keep it genuine — 2-3 sentences is plenty.
Set your rates and reach. Tradespeople can set an hourly rate range and a travel radius so clients know what to expect.
Share your profile. Every tradesperson gets a public profile link and a review link. Copy them from your profile settings and share them anywhere — WhatsApp, social media, email, business cards.
Find tradespeople by name, trade category, or location. Featured profiles appear at the top.

Go to Browse. You'll see featured tradespeople at the top, then all profiles below.
Use the filters. Search by name, select a trade category, or type a city to narrow results. All filters update in real time.
View a profile. Click any tradesperson to see their full profile — portfolio, reviews, rates, and contact options.
Follow tradespeople. Hit the follow button to keep track of people whose work you like. Their posts will appear in your feed.

Go to Feed. You'll see posts from the community, filterable by trade category.
Create a post. Click the post composer, add a title and description, select your trade and city, optionally attach up to 2 photos, and publish.
Engage. Like posts with the flame icon. Click the comment icon to leave a comment or read what others are saying.
The core of Traid. Clients post jobs, tradespeople apply, and both sides manage the entire lifecycle — from application to match to payment.
Posting a job
Click "Post a job" on the Job Board. Fill in the title, description, city, and budget range.
Review applications. Go to the "My Jobs" tab to see who applied. Each applicant shows their name, location, experience, and bio.
Accept a tradesperson. Click "Accept" on the application you like. The tradesperson gets notified and needs to confirm the match.
Match confirmed. Once the tradesperson confirms, you're matched. You can now message each other and set up payment.
Applying for jobs
Browse open jobs. The Job Board shows all available work with descriptions, budgets, and locations.
Apply. Click "Apply for this job" on any listing. The client gets notified immediately.
Track your applications. The "My Applications" tab shows every job you've applied to with real-time status updates — pending, client interested, awaiting confirmation, matched, or declined.
Confirm the match. When a client accepts your application, you'll get a notification. Click "Confirm match" to complete the hire.
The job lifecycle
Once matched, agree on a price and payment method. Traid supports payment methods used around the world — from bank transfers to e-transfers to UPI.
Agree on a price. After matching, the tradesperson enters the agreed price and selects a currency.
Choose a payment method. Pick what works for both parties — bank transfer, PayPal, e-transfer (Interac), Zelle, UPI, SEPA, or cash.
Client sends payment. Follow the instructions shown on screen. Mark the payment as sent once done.
Tradesperson confirms. Once the tradesperson receives the payment, they mark it as received. The job is now complete.

Once you're matched on a job, messaging opens up. Discuss details, timelines, and logistics directly inside Traid.
Go to Messages. Your conversations appear on the left. Each one is linked to a specific job.
Select a conversation. Click on any conversation to see the full message history.
Send messages. Type in the input field and hit Send. Messages are delivered in real time.
Unread messages
A badge in the navigation bar shows how many unread messages you have. You'll also get a notification for each new message.
Traid's AI-powered team builder. Describe what you need in plain language and Power Search will analyse every tradesperson on the platform to recommend the perfect team for your project.

Go to Power Search. You need at least 1 credit. Credits can be purchased from Billing.
Describe your project. Use the free-text box to write what you need, or use "Build a list" to add specific requirements one by one.
Set your location. Enter the city where the work is needed and a search radius (5km to 5,000km).
Review the results. The AI returns a recommended team, a full project plan with phases, and timeline estimates. Previous searches are saved so you can refer back to them.

Reviews build trust. Traid has two ways to collect reviews — from clients on the platform, and from anyone using a shareable review link.
Platform reviews
Clients who are logged into Traid can leave a review directly on a tradesperson's profile page. These show the reviewer's name from their account.
Review link (no login needed)
Every tradesperson gets a shareable review link. Send it to any past client — they can leave a review with just their name and a star rating. No account required. These show a "verified client" badge.
Get your review link. Go to Profile Settings and copy your review link from the "Share" section.
Send it to past clients. Text it, email it, or print it on a business card. The link works for anyone — no account needed.
Client leaves a review. They enter their name, pick a star rating (1–5), and optionally write a comment. One tap to submit.
Your rating updates automatically. The review appears on your profile and your average rating recalculates in real time.
Show off your best work. Upload up to 6 portfolio photos that appear on your public profile.
Go to Profile Settings. Scroll to the "Portfolio Photos" section.
Upload a photo. Click the upload area and select an image (JPEG, PNG, or WebP, max 10MB). Add an optional caption describing the work.
Wait for approval. Photos go through a quick safety review. You'll see the status next to each photo — pending, approved, or rejected.
Manage your portfolio. You can upload up to 6 photos and delete any you want to replace. Your best photos appear on your public profile.
Tip
Before-and-after photos perform best. They tell a story and show the quality of your work at a glance.
Invite other tradespeople and clients to Traid. When they join, you both earn Power Search credits.
Go to Refer & Earn. You'll see your unique referral link and code.
Share your link. Copy it and send it to anyone who could benefit from Traid. You can also invite by email directly from the page.
Earn credits. When someone signs up using your link, you get 5 Power Search credits and so do they.
Your home base. See your stats, notifications, recent activity, and analytics — all in one place.
